Meet Our Groomers

Hope - Owner/Groomer

Hello, my name is Hope, and I am the owner of Petman Grooming. I have owned the business since April 2022, having previously worked for Petman for several years before assuming ownership. With 12 years of grooming experience and a lifelong passion for animals, I have developed a strong connection to this field. I have been a resident of this area for over 25 years and I share my home with a Standard Poodle and a Shih Tzu. I find grooming to be both calming and therapeutic, and I am pleased to offer grooming services for cats as well as dogs of all sizes and breeds.

Stef - Groomer

My name is Stefanie, and I have over 20 years of experience in the grooming industry. I have been with Petman Grooming since it was established, and out of all the places I have worked this has become my favorite workplace. I value the commitment this business demonstrates towards the care of clients' pets. I began my career as a veterinary assistant right after high school and later attended grooming school in Manassas. While I don't have a favorite breed to groom, I do particularly enjoy grooming Shih Tzus, as I have two of them myself. I appreciate the unique characteristics of each breed during grooming, and I take great pleasure in performing breed-specific cuts.

Lauren - Groomer

I'm Lauren and Ive been professionally grooming for 5 years. I enjoy working on all kinds of Doodles and large breed dogs. I originally got into this career field as a teenager because I had a doodle myself that needed upkeep and through owning her I discovered my passion for grooming. I am a cat mom to one sassy calico and believe patience is a virtue when working with animals.

Bobbi - Groomer

Hello, my name is Bobbi, and I have been a professional groomer for 16 years. I began my grooming career in 2007 as a bather, where I quickly realized my passion for the craft. Over the next four years, I had the opportunity to work alongside a master groomer, during which time I earned a certification in grooming sporting breeds. I specialize in terriers, particularly schnauzers, as well as breeds with a substantial undercoat, such as Australian Shepherds and Golden Retrievers. My grooming philosophy is to treat each dog with the same care and attention as if they were my own.

Kerowyn - Bather

My name is Kerowyn, and I have been with Petman Grooming for just over a year. As a dedicated bather, I aspire to advance my career to become a groomer. I find great joy in bathing dogs of all breeds, with a particular fondness for small dogs. I strive to get to know each pet to ensure they receive the best experience possible. I work with various coat types, ranging from Boxers to Newfoundlands, and I am currently expanding my skills to include trimming feet and furnishings.

Shana - Bather

My name is Shana, and I am a bather at Petman. I have nine years of experience in the grooming and bathing industry, with seven of those years spent at Petman Grooming. I am a mother to one child and I own two German Shepherds and two cats. From a young age, I have always had a passion for working with animals. I am committed to furthering my knowledge and skills in the grooming field. I have a particular affinity for German Shepherds and often work with high-anxiety dogs that require extra reassurance. Currently, I am in the process of learning grooming techniques and have been performing basic foot and furnishing trims for the past couple of years.

Jessica - Bather

Hello, my name is Jessica. I have been a bather since 2019, and I thoroughly enjoy working with large double-coated breeds such as Great Pyrenees, as well as smaller, spirited breeds like American Eskimo Dogs. The fluffier the breed, the more I enjoy it! One of my special interests is learning about pet-safe dyes and creative grooming techniques. I also have a diverse collection of pets at home, ranging from fish to birds, so I take pleasure in assisting with small animals that come into the shop, including guinea pigs and birds.

Stephanie - Manager/Receptionist

Hi there, I'm Stephanie, and I serve as the manager at Petman Grooming. In addition to my management role, I am also a full-time receptionist. I have been with Petman for just over two years and bring a background in veterinary medicine and office management, along with a lifelong passion for animal care. I take great pride in building relationships with our clients and their pets, ensuring they feel confident entrusting their furry family members to our team. I tend to fill in wherever needed and you can find me running the front desk and answering phones or bathing and prepping dogs for grooming. I am also the resident pet photographer! My experience extends to a variety of animals, from companion animals like dogs and cats to the livestock I personally own such as pigs, goats and horses. I also provide nail trimming services for many of our small animal companions like guinea pigs, rabbits, and birds. I am a strong advocate for ensuring that pets are comfortable and that the grooming process is as stress-free and enjoyable as possible.

Hailee - Receptionist

Hello everyone, my name is Hailee, and I am one of the receptionists at Petman Grooming. I have a background in bathing and over 10 years of experience in customer service. Currently, I am a proud owner of a French Bulldog and a tiny senior Chihuahua. I am originally from Richmond and have been part of this community for nearly two years. I truly enjoy getting to meet all the wonderful pets that visit our facility.
